I know its been awhile since I have written anything on here. I went home to Boston to help with my Mom (Betty) while she had surgery on her retina. She is doing well and is slowly starting to get back to normal activities. While I was home in Boston my Grandmother Montgomery passed away on March 28th. She was able to go home from the Hospital just a few days before with nursing care. That was what she wanted was to go peacefully at home. Its just been a tough month for me with different changes going on in my life. I know I can handle it with God by my side. I just wanted to say "Thanks" to those who gave encouraging words and prayers. It was greatly appreciated more than you will ever know.

Life's ups and downs

This past week has been crazy. I have found out that my Grandmother Montgomery has days, weeks, maybe months left on her life but its all left up God how long she has left. My Grandmother is a fighter but she is tired and she wants to go home. My Grandmother had a feeding tube put in a few months ago and it fell out a week ago and got infected. My Grandmother hadn't spoken for a few months until last week when she told the Doctor "tired" and "home"so, she is going back home to wait out her time. Hospice will make sure she is comfortable along with Home Health Aids. My Grandmother cannot speak very well and you have to listen really intently to understand her and still you may not hear her correctly but she does have the words "no" and "I Love You " down pat. I got to see her this past weekend and it was very emotional because she didn't want me to leave and I didn't either but it was a great visit. Just pray for my family and my Grandmother for peace and comfort.
